This is an old 1800's farm house at The Blue Ridge Institute Farm Museum. We visited a couple of months ago and for some reason this escasped my blog so there are more pics to come this week! My pal over at Sunnybrook Farm knows quite a bit about this place so hopefully he'll fill us in as we go along! Linking with Roan's Rubbish Tuesday :)

Rurality Wednesday - Breckinridge Mill Road

An old house along Breckinridge Mill Rd, Fincastle.

The snow I showed you yesterday mostly melted by the afternoon but then another band of snow came along and left a couple of more inches. With the below freezing temps overnight, and our high of only 18 today, the snow will not be going anywhere. School was cancelled again. Happy, happy, happy, but we won't be all that happy when we have to make these days up! I guess we'll worry about that when the time comes ;)

And this is my front yard today:

And a bonus of Ozzy because he just loves the snow! Here he is catching snowballs!

For the very first time I am linking with ABC Wednesday today. I have always wanted to play along but forget every single week. This time I have a picture, by chance to go with B...for Breckinridge! Hopefully I'll remember next week :)
