Willy Nilly Friday 5 No. 82

Since Ashlyn graduates tomorrow and I took some pics of her on Sunday I am going to show a few of my favorites!

1)
Ashlyn's major is Political Science and she spent much time in Miller Hall

2)
This was an accidental picture. It was windy and she was trying to get her cap back on, waiting for the wind to stop....turned out to be one of my favorites!

3)
A couple more of my favorites that she wouldn't agree with...here she is posing with James Madison and again the wind blew her cap off but she looks like she is having a genuine good time with old James here! Makes me smile!

4)

5)
And here she is with Duke Dog!

That's my 5 this week and I hope you will play along! Post 5 randoms, link back, visit others!! Have a great weekend!

Beach Week(end)

Hampton, VA

I showed you this house when we were here last year, RIGHT HERE ...Nick stopped and talked to the work guys and it turns out it had been condemned and was just totally redone...I still prefer the old blue color before. But guess since they didn't ask me, it doesn't really matter haha...We just got back from a last minute holiday weekend in the Hampton Roads area. More to show this week...but most importantly....
This guy graduated high school on Friday. Christian, my 2nd oldest. He left yesterday to go on a camping trip with a couple of buddies. I hope they are having fun and safe! They will be home tomorrow. I will be much more relaxed having him back home!

Random 5 Friday - Community House

"One of Buchanan’s best known pre Civil War Era structures is the Wilson Warehouse (Community House). Completed in 1839 for John S. Wilson as a combined store, warehouse and private residence the structure is still in use today. The John S. Wilson Company was the chief shipper and receiver of goods during “Canal Days” when Buchanan acted as the western terminus of the James River & Kanawha Canal." Continue Reading

Random time:

1) Last Friday I was preparing for Ashlyn's graduation, here's a couple of photos of that:
me and my girl

our family, with enormous Chris, Ash's boyfriend

2) Now I'm preparing for Christian's prom. Have to meet him and his date at Hollins University tomorrow afternoon for pictures and then I am working After Prom. It's going to be a LOOOOONNNGGG night tomorrow.

3) So sad about the fires out in San Diego. That's where I'm from. Nick's sister had to evacuate her home. I have friends that their children's schools are closed. I've heard it's arson. That is just disgusting.

4) Tonight I am making this for dinner....sounds yummy!

5) Last week I made this for dinner and it was a hit. Will definitely do again!

Have a great weekend!
