Sunday Best on Monday #12

This is President Lincoln's box at Ford's Theatre. To the right of the box is the door where Booth entered Lincoln's box and shot him. Booth then jumped from the box onto the stage before escaping. President Lincoln was carried across the street to the Petersen House where he died the next morning.

  4. I think we can all agree he was one of our best presidents. Too bad he was shot down in his prime.

  5. I use to pass by this theater when I worked in the area, so amazing that it's still in use as a theater! Love this inside glimpse. (I saw the movie last night and very much enjoyed Daniel Day-Lewis's performance:)

I know how you feel, my daughter just started driving in August. All we can do is hope for the best for our children.
