An old house along Breckinridge Mill Rd, Fincastle.
The snow I showed you yesterday mostly melted by the afternoon but then another band of snow came along and left a couple of more inches. With the below freezing temps overnight, and our high of only 18 today, the snow will not be going anywhere. School was cancelled again. Happy, happy, happy, but we won't be all that happy when we have to make these days up! I guess we'll worry about that when the time comes ;)
And this is my front yard today:

And a bonus of Ozzy because he just loves the snow! Here he is catching snowballs!

For the very first time I am linking with ABC Wednesday today. I have always wanted to play along but forget every single week. This time I have a picture, by chance to go with B...for Breckinridge! Hopefully I'll remember next week :)

you've houses close to a main road too, I wonder what it is like to live in these places with all the traffic. Ozzy makes a great catch! I like the Snow Queen quote from yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get much snow over the mountain, just enough to make the ground look white. It was 13 so lots of ice breaking this morning. Looks like it won't let up for awhile.
ReplyDeleteAwesome dog! :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks like Ozzy is enjoying the snow!
ReplyDeletenice to see ozzy! :) enjoy that snow day!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, Ozzy is hilarious and adorable! So lovely to see him featured here:) Stay warm, it's been freezing around here, brrr.
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful! My husband's school has been out quite a bit for snow this year already. He's probably going to have to teach well into June now!

DeleteYou have to make up the snow days???? The photos are great. I get the picture...it is cold :).
ReplyDeleteyeah :( we actually have them built into our school calendar as make-up days...if there's not a snow day to make up, we get it off...so they won't be added to the end of the school year...i don't know how many we have built in...maybe 10 or so.
DeleteWELCOME! Love your post and especially Ozzy trying to catch a snowball. See you next week,

ReplyDeleteAw, the snow is so pretty, and leave it to a dog to make the most of it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun dog catching snowballs that you throw. I've been watching birds all day filling their tummies.
ReplyDeleteWelcome! I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us do! My Golden Retriever loves to catch snowballs too. I love to look at (a little bit of) snow. Your front yard is lovely. I'm sure the trees are gorgeous in the summer.
ReplyDeleteThe snow really does make pretty photos. Great 'B' shots, so glad you remembered to join! BTW, I have most of the photo memes in my email calendar for reminders!
ReplyDeleteI love that old house, but am tired of snow already!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely old house and pretty snow shots, cute picture of Ozzy. His very own snow cone. We had five inches of snow here.
ReplyDeleteLove that old house, and also the one across from your place in the snow photo. Wish we would get a few inches.
ReplyDeleteOzzy is quite the sportsman!
ReplyDeleteOzzy is talented! And tough!
ReplyDeleteAt least Ozzy is enjoying the snow and cold!
ReplyDeleteA great old house. I wonder if Ozzy thought he was being shortchanged when the snowball crushed.
ReplyDeleteOzzy looks deliriously happy!
