The honeybee sanctuary is cool, the bees need all the help they can get. But, I do not understand why they need an electric fence. To keep people out? Great fence find. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteto keep the bears out!
DeleteHow welcoming: stinging insects, electric fence! No landmines?
ReplyDeleteoh that is funny!!
Deletei'd call that free education if you stumbled thru that electric fence and disturbed those bees. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never met a fence yet that could keep the bees out! Great capture.
ReplyDeleteSweet ... and when I clicked your link, I learned it's a Boy Scout's Eagle project ... even sweeter.
ReplyDeletewhat a super idea to have a bee sanctuary... with all the bees disappearing we need more of these.
ReplyDeleteI would be happy to give the honey bee area a wide birth. The bees have a way of letting you know they are not happy with your presence, but the sign doesn't hurt. Our state, SD, is the second largest producer of honey in the U.S., so there are plenty of bees here.
ReplyDeleteI know one thing--I would not want to fall into that fencing!
ReplyDeleteIt's very cool, indeed!
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I'm pretty sure I would not need that sign. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful. Honey bees are in danger in this country and their loss would be devastating. Anything to help them survive is to be applauded!
ReplyDeleteOver fenced, I'd say!
ReplyDeleteGreat fence around the bee sanctuary. We need the honey bees and what they provide. Wonderful photo.

I never heard of a bee sanctuary...it is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteWay cool. Bees are so important and in such danger!
ReplyDeleteStung by the bee or zapped by the fence. Bees need all the sanctuaries they can get right?
ReplyDeleteIt is very cool!
ReplyDeleteBears can't read, so they need the electric fence.
ReplyDeleteGreat project!

They need all the help they can get, and we need bees, so it's a good thing.
ReplyDeleteWell that is a first for sure. What an exciting and beneficial project this is. I did laugh about the (stinging insect) part of the sign. Good thing the fence is there to keep out those bears.
ReplyDeleteThis is different!
ReplyDeleteWell, if the fence won't get you....the bees will!
ReplyDeleteHow do they fence to bees in? Just kidding. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteIt's a good place.
ReplyDeleteElectrifying fence, I say.
ReplyDeleteGood find, Tanya.
What's the education - why one should not touch the electric fence or on how bees work? :
Have a Wonderful Day!
Peace :)
Interesting... an electric fence to keep out humans?
