On Saturday we took the boys and Ozzy out to Day Creek in Blue Ridge...It's a nice area for Ozzy to get a walk and Nick wanted to see how frozen the creek was since we've had all this wintry weather...
Dalton testing it out, looking a bit like Bambi haha
Now he's got his balance...
Crack, crack, crack went the ice...he jumped back quick! No worries, even if he did fall in it wasn't deep!
Ozzy has the hang of it!
We've had a nice warm weekend so I'm sure it has all thawed out by now! Linking up with Mersad's Through My Lens

Ozzy knows what a creek is for!
ReplyDeleteSnow all melted here. Rain today
Have a great week!
Most dogs I've known love ice cold water. Most kids I've known like to fool around on ice to see how strong it is. A few of them made a mistake by not getting to dry land after the first "crack!" :)
ReplyDelete...ice can be a tricky things. Too many go through each winter here.
ReplyDeleteIt looks much too thick to crack! Ozzy looks like he is having fun with a million smells.
ReplyDeleteOzzy must have enjoyed that!
ReplyDeleteWe're getting snow all day today.
Great photos of your outing! What fun.
ReplyDeleteOzzy just wants to have fun and a cold drink of water. Looks like there's not much snow around in the woods.
ReplyDeleteJust the kind of fun we love too!
ReplyDeleteLooks much like my farm. We are thawed out entirely. I don't know how I am going to make it through a full week of school. lol!
ReplyDeleteWe still haven't had a proper snow yet:-(

ReplyDeleteCute photos Tanya! I would stay near the edge too.
ReplyDeleteOh - my heart was in my mouth at first, until you said that the water was shallow. But oh gosh that would have been cold. Brave boys...(I'm such a weather wimp, I know.)
ReplyDeletemaybe not deep, but wet :) Not fun with wet shoes so it was good he came on dry land :)
