Botetourt County
#Snowanoke is the clever hashtag used for sharing your snow pics of Roanoke on social media ;) This is another view from my backyard yesterday because you know what? I didn't go anywhere...in fact, walking down into my backyard was the furthest I went all day long! Today we ended up with another "snow day" because everything froze over so it's really icy out...So on this Thankful Thursday I am thankful to end up with 2 snow days this week to spend with the boys and Ozzy...you know how much I love that! Linking up with Michelle's Thankful Thursday of course!

ReplyDeletei know, you people up there are way more hardcore than us wimps down here :D
DeleteHello, I prefer the snow over the ice. That looks like a nice sledding hill. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteWe stayed inside too. But today is beautiful! I love your snowboarding videos. Now I can do it vicariously.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, but it seems to me that if the weather person hinted there might be a wee bit of snow or ice a week away, schools in some Texas cities would shut down immediately. Well, that's what I was told. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is what we call a dusting. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks like you've got some high ground.
We haven't had school since last Thursday of last week. Teachers report tomorrow, but no students. We live in such a rural area and the side roads are crazy. We have a system where we get 10 days of at home/online work for students and teachers, that don't have to be made up. We have reached the halfway mark on that pretty fast! Thanks for linking up today!
ReplyDeleteWe have stayed inside (except going out to feed the birds) for two days, too. Though the towns cleared their streets, we are out in the country and just have to wait for ice and snow to melt (bright sunshine helps). We ventured out today; roads were okay, but some ice and snow still on bridges.
ReplyDeletePlease take a moment to review "Emily's Virtual Rocket". (emilysvirtualrocket.blogspot.com) This has reviews of transgender life, plus a critical view of Donald Trump. Thanks.

I love snow days - I'm glad you enjoyed yours!
