During our 45 minute drive to Franklin County for Christian's game last night, we were behind this Utz truck for most of it. I never heard of Utz till moving here and not sure if it's pronounced with a long or short U sound. Whatever it is, I'm sure I'm saying it wrong, lol.
The little Utz girl is cute though :)
Hi Tanya,
ReplyDeleteUTZ, is a company that sells snack products, chips, pretzels, etc. I think it is located in Hanover,Pa. Cute photo.
Our first exposure to Utz chips was when we went on a vacation to Hershey, PA and Amish Country last year. I had never heard of Utz and didn't know how to pronounce it either. I also remember thinking that the little Utz girl was cute.
ReplyDeleteI am from Pennsylvania and LOVE Utz's chips! We used to buy them in a big round tin. I think it's pronounced with a short vowel sound, as the vowel sound in "puts."
ReplyDeleteje ne connais pas du tout "UTZ" mais j'aime bien la "Girl's UTZ", cela fait vieille publicité
ReplyDeleteI do not know at all "UTZ" but I like the "Girl's UTZ", it is old advertising
My family's from Eastern PA, and like Bibi, I'm quite familiar with this brand. Didn't know they were this far south.
ReplyDeleteHello Tanya !
ReplyDeleteYes : the girl i very cute...
See You later.
Looks like you had an escort to the game!
ReplyDeleteThe logo has such a vibtage feel to it! I really like it!
ReplyDeleteWow! Bibi says that they are chips! Blogging just answers so many questions!)
Short U sound...long on grease...very deliciously fattening!
ReplyDelete45 minutes is a long time to be behind a truck. I don't like driving when I can't see very far ahead of me.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of Utz either. ;-)
I never heard of Utz until I moved here either. They are now my favorite chip. Try the ripple cut sour cream and onion. Lots of flavor but not so much salt. Yum!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my blog. I like the idea of the photo journalism. There are so many pretty things around here.

I didn't hear you say it. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of them, either.
It's interesting to see things, especially advertising and billboards from other countries. Good one, from Dave, New Zealand
