Appalachian Trail - Part 2
With the temps hovering near 80 on Sunday, it was a blessing that most of the hike was through the green, lush trees.
We were able to see our little run in barn from the top of the hill. Our house is too shaded by trees to be visible.
We were told that once we got to the top, there is another trail that runs along the ridge, but that's a whole days hike. We'll have to try that another day, start out earlier!

ReplyDeleteI'm an amateur radio operator, and a group I'm with runs radio contests from the top of Mt Greylock, MA. The AT runs across the summit, and we often see hikers who are as curious about our activities as we are about theirs.
