Don't forget tonight's meeting regarding the budget cuts...
*If you are a resident of Botetourt County, you might already be aware of the budget cuts we are facing that involve the possible elimination of all school sports at middle and high school level and an elementary school closure. If you didn't already hear about this, you can read the story right here and please attend the meeting on Tuesday, March 27, 6:00 pm at Lord Botetourt High School regarding this important issue.*
Wow, it is very green! Great old barn, Tanya!

Like this barn....it is in such a nice setting. it appears to me to be in great need of some repairs, but sitting there against that vivid green grass it is so pretty just as it is. Thought for sure you would have seen the one I posted. Caught it on the way home from Asheville on Sunday....a sad trip. Buddy had seen it once before so he knew just where to stop for me. For some reason my Canon only took ONE of the 10 or so shots I took. Do not have a clue where I messed up. That is the reason it is so far away. Had to take this one with the P and S Canon. The school situation is awful.....we are in a mess here, too. All kinds of things are going o be dropped....teachers included. This may well be my last year. Take care...genie
ReplyDeleteNice job of capturing the barn beyond this green field. You appear to have summer there already.
ReplyDeleteLove the oldie but goodie! And that grass is the greenest I've seen yet!
ReplyDeleteGreat find & love that green grass!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about the budget cuts issue... that's a bad situation when it gets to that point!
Thanks for joining, Tanya! =)
I can't believe how green that field is. It provides a youthful contrast to the tired old barn.
ReplyDeleteDelightful. It's even been recently mowed!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a road I would love to travel down...I like that barn, too.
ReplyDeleteThat green is gorgeous! Nice shot sooc!
ReplyDeleteTanya that green is beautiful! Spring green! The barn is charming poor old thing. You gave it some TLC when you snapped it. Love to see big old thick grass after it has been mowed. I can even smell it!
ReplyDeleteOh, that green grass! Nature's first green IS gold!!
ReplyDeleteIt is so different to see green in the photo of your barn charms. Very welcoming!
ReplyDeleteLove the vivid green grass, and the barn is wonderful! Great capture!
ReplyDeleteSomeone is really proud of that grass. The barn looks like a shadowbox frame, complete with items placed in the cubbies. Great capture, Tanya. :)
