"Yes. Since President Lincoln was my cousin, and the whole world has done hi genealogy many times, by the experts, no less, all I had to do was go back on my side until our sides linked up and then it became a book. It goes back to our ancestors who were in a Roman Army Legion and encamped in what is now England. They settled there. Several towns in England were named after our surname, Lincoln. I never thought about blogging about it."
what a shot. so lovely. i hope it is ok to read other comments ... don't usually do that ... but wow, to be a cousin of abe lincoln ... now that is awesome!! you must have another blog about that genealogy? oh, i sure hope he will blog about ... that would be such fun & great to read. (:
There is a lot to say about shooting when trees are bare, I think it adds so much to a photo. Love that fence with the nail almost out... Have a great Friday Tanya!
Hi Tanya, I would surely look for Daniel Cloud there. The weather is not cooperating right now it always overcast hopefully tomorrow the sun is out. I think we brought the chilly and cold weather from Michigan hehehe. Thanks for the visit.
Oh I do like me some sky with fence, and especially the shadows! Very nice. RYC: my daughter lives in McDonough, just south of Atlanta. The weather should be beautiful and I'm hoping to spend time in cemeteries and photographing the sky! Have a great weekend!
Somehow or other it looks cold in this photo even with the grand blue skies. Taken recently? And this is one of those fences that tells a story--thriftiness of the owner, using a mix of what he has on hand?
