Macro Monday #1
My dogwood just started to open up...tomorrow it should be beautiful! Linking to Macro Monday this week :)
*If you are a resident of Botetourt County, you might already be aware of the budget cuts we are facing that involve the possible elimination of all school sports at middle and high school level and an elementary school closure. If you didn't already hear about this, you can read the story right here and please attend the meeting on Tuesday, March 27, 6:00 pm at Lord Botetourt High School regarding this important issue.*

Tomorrow? It is gorgeous as it is today. :) Thanks for visiting NFT
ReplyDeleteoh i know, it's still pretty as it is but when it completely opens and they turn white, the whole tree will looks so lacy! :)
ReplyDeleteLook at entry number 16 on Macro Monday! I have exact same tree! Well it's my parents... This is the first year it's bloomed; will the flowers turn white??
ReplyDeleteCalling by as another Macro Monday participant, I had not noticed before how attractive the centre of a dogwood is.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful flower macro!
ReplyDeleteAwesome macro photo ~ charming ~~ thanks, namaste, ^_^
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower. Sounds like all schools are trying to cut something. I hope it doesn't happen.
ReplyDeleteoh, how gorgeous! visiting from MM
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful dogwood blossom! There are many dogwood trees in Tokyo, but They have not bloom yet.
ReplyDeletelove how green it is at first!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot...love dogwood trees.
ReplyDeleteWhat the heck is happening to our schools...are they stupid in not recognizing that our youth are the future leaders of this great country. Cutting out sports is just another nail in the coffin of many of our obese kids. Nothing makes sense.
Beautiful flower photo. And good luck with the cuts campaigning.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!! I love dogwood, I was driving around looking for some dogwood blooms here in KC this afternoon. KC temps hit 80 today and the dogwoods don't like the heat.
ReplyDeleteOh beautiful!! I've always loved dogwood, but I have never looked at it up this close :)

I really like this macro of the dogwood blossom. We have a pink dogwood in our yard that has started blooming as well. I only hope I can get a picture half as good as this one.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the dogwood. Such a pretty green.
ReplyDeleteI live in Jersey as you know but even I know about it! Good luck at the meeting!
Wonderful macro shot. I hate to hear about all these education cuts. It's terrible here in CA as well.
