The Clock Strikes 12
On New Years Eve, we all stayed up to watch the ball drop in New York. At midnight, we had a toast (the kids with the "kid wine" which is just sparkling grape juice) and then they ran outside to make alot of noise. Braden had his mini drum set set up on the front porch and Christian had his electric guitar plugged in and ready to go. Here they are jammin on the new year!

ReplyDeletehave a super 2009!!
How fun! The most noise we made was the clink sound of our champagne glasses, loud yawns, and then off to bed...
ReplyDeleteBraden looks like a real maestro! Very funny and cute! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a house band! Do they work cheap? Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all had a great time!

ReplyDeleteCelebrate, good times!!
ReplyDeleteCool!! happy new year to you and your family from us here in Malta
ReplyDeleteWow - your children clearly had a lot more energy than mine did at that hour!
ReplyDeleteThey sure know how to have fun
ReplyDeleteIt looks like he is conducting his brother! Great New Year celebrations! I'll have a glass of 'kid wine' please. I could do with a rest from 'grown-up wine'!
ReplyDeleteNo close neighbors? How nice they had a fun evening.
ReplyDeleteI had the kids wake me at 11:55, then went back to bed at 12:30. The ol' grey mare ain't what she used to be.
ReplyDeleteI remember when the kids thought it was awesome to stay up late to celebrate...and now the shoe is on the other foot.....they start OUT at 10 or 11 at night.....and I am wondering if I can make it just a few more minutes to midnight!.....so different than when I was a young adult.....love the shot!
