I'll definitely 2nd what you said... I'd LOVE to live in that house... for one thing, it's a beautiful set up, & another thing is I'd have access to that barn 24/7! LoL! =) Such a cool fence, too.
So sorry about the camera not saving the pic, so I'm guessing you went back out & shot this beauty?!
Thanks so much for getting the shot & joining Barn Charm, Tanya =)
Tayna...the rains came..thank heavens so we are a bit cooler here at the house though it is REALLY lonely without Buddy. He still has 3 weeks up there in those mountains. Talked to him this morning and he had left his Long Trail book and map at somewhere....NOT GOOD! He was really bummed out. Told him to pay for a shuttle to the Long Trail Main Office and get new ones. There is NO way he can wing it without them. So as you can see, I am sitting here in LEX fretting and worrying about him. Now to your barn. We really need to go back to Gettysburg and ride around the countryside instead of living at the battlefield and Eisenhower home. I love this barn ....and it is in pristine condition. I, too, would like to be living in it IF it were here in R. County. G
I'm with you on that house! And it would be such a blessing to have that beauty of a barn also! I loved the time we spent at Gettysburg--so much history amid all that beauty. In my junior American Literature course, I show the part of the ". . . Titans" movie where Danzel Washington (the coach) takes his newly integrated football team to the Gettysburg cemetary. Then I read a short summary of the battle (written for younger kids) and then we go over The Gettysburg Address. I find that movie scene gets their attention.
I agree with you that house is awesome and the barn is as pretty as the house too. ^_^
