Football practice for the 9/10 year old Botetourt Panthers. For the first couple of weeks practice is pretty easy, without gear. Hill running will become much harder when they have full pads on!
I love seeing other people doing physical activities as I sit on my bedroom floor drinking Mountain Dew. Glad to see that not everyone is as lazy as me.
Now this really brings back memories. I used to play Pop Warner football in Anaheim when I was their age. Practice was really hard but it made us stronger in more ways than one.
You had the REAL little people in a row! Ha ha! Thanks for hopping aboard the crazy train! Sorry I didn't comment sooner, but I was out of town all weekend and no WI-FI in sight! Talk about withdrawal! Yikes!
They must start from somewhere. And this is a giood start.

ReplyDeleteGetting them in shape!
Great photo, Tanya.
ReplyDeleteIf convenient, can you please check my post again today, and see if the image is now available? Thanks.
And they do this voluntarily, right? Sheesh!
ReplyDeleteKids have lots of energy, though. Hope it isn't as hot there as in some places.
At my age, when I see a hill I detour around it no matter what's on my back! :-)
Love some good hill running! Although I don't wear heavy gear when I do it ;-)
ReplyDeleteGeez is it that time of year already? My son goes to soccer camp next week. He's not looking forward to the conditioning part of playing.
ReplyDeleteIt's that time here too : )
ReplyDeleteI,m thinking it must be way too hot to be wearing much gear yet!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a good way to start off. Great things in a row shot!
ReplyDeleteNice shot of the action Tanya!

I sure hope they don't suffer any from extreme heat exhaustion. I think young boys are more apt to enjoy the rigorous training, tho. Maybe?
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday to you.
