I didn't know the story behind this either. I followed the link, and I'm so glad there is this way to honor the fallen. My husband graduated from Tech. I will have to ask him if he remembers visiting this.
Love the choice of monochrome for this. It makes it more solemn.
Wonderful shot, Tanya. Glad you are enjoying touring :). So much to see and enjoy.
good lighting. nice moment you captured there. ( :
A very grand and fitting monument.
really nicely shot with the sun flare and b&w.
A very stark shot, Tanya. It fits the requirements of the memorial
Interesting link Tanya and so many names etched there for eternity. I agree with William you've shot this beautifully. I enjoyed reading about your 'Black Friday' shopping venture..I saw some of it on tv, it looked wild :)
Great shot of this, especially in the black and white.
thanks for the link it was good to read about this Memorial, wonderful shot. I'm glad everywhere one goes there are Memorials in appreciation for those who give their lives for their countries.
Hi Tanya, I like this image a lot. Very dramatic looking and a lovely memorial.People have let me know that my links are appearing on their blog and I see that they follow me here like a millstone around my neck! I wrote a post about it today asking for help on how to get rid of them.
I like this in b/w.
The b&w makes it a very dramatic shot.
Beautiful light! And very touching in b&w.
Beautiful composition with exquisite lighting and good frame!
