The Breese Family Crab Boil

Every summer we try to cram in at least one crab boil. Here it was, Labor Day weekend and we realized we hadn't done one yet and summer was winding down. After a long but fun day at our favorite spot on Craig Creek (you know the place well by now) we came home and had our boil. It's really one of our favorite meals, crab, shrimp (we can't find crawfish up here so we substitute shrimp for it, but hey, that's quite alright!)sausage, potatoes and corn....so yummy and the fun part is that you just eat right out of the pile of food with your fingers and most importantly, your loved ones, which on this particular evening, I am surrounded by my husband and kids and life is good!

Watery Wednesday

We ended up at Craig Creek on Sunday and so glad that we went when we did since Monday just rained and rained. Nick made some Teriyaki steak and chicken skewers that we grilled at the creek then later that night we had a crab boil. It was a pretty good summer send off.

As you can see, Ozzy had a pretty great day too!
