Cabin Days

On Sunday we wound up in Radford for Cabin Days at the Ingles Farm. This farm belonged to William Ingles and Mary Draper and amazingly is still in the family to this day! Cabin Days was a free event with demonstrators, dressed in period clothing, telling stories of life back then.

You can click HERE to read about the Ingles family and Mary's struggle for survival after she was kidnapped by indians.

  6. Cabin Days sounds like a wonderful event. We have similar things here in Tennessee this time of the year. I must say that no one in Roanoke should be bored with so many different things to do.
