SkyWatch Friday

Waiting for the Fincastle Christmas parade to start

The Botetourt County Courthouse was built in 1848; it suffered a severe fire in the 1970s and was rebuilt. The plans for the courthouse that preceded this one were drawn by Thomas Jefferson.

For some reason blogger isn't letting me add a clickable link so copy/paste the link below to see more skies from all over!

  1. Beautiful sky and a classic courthouse.

    Darryl and Ruth :)

  2. Lovely sky capture. Love the classic courthouse in the foreground. Well done.

  3. A fine capture of this courthouse. I like the post processing results too.

  4. Isn’t Fincastle a fun place to visit. I think it is so cute. Love your processing of the courthouse. You really did a fine job. Like the mix of colors so much. Hope you have a nice weekend. Take care...genie

  5. Beautiful sky! I believe the courthouse does set the stage in this shot. Wonderfully captured.

  6. One glance before reading, I thought 'that looks like a courthouse.' And it is, love your shot!
