Rurality Blog Hop - Hot Springs

Hot Springs, Bath County, Va

Today we were supposed to go to the Salem Fair. Been looking forward to it. Forecast today: 80% HEAVY RAIN...Forecast tonight: 80% HEAVY RAIN...just like yesterday...RAIN...I am so over the rain. Every time we have plans, ohhh surprise, it's raining. Tomorrow's plans:
Buchanan Parade and Carnival. Tomorrow's forecast: 50% chance of thunderstorms...of course...sorry to be such a Debbie Downer...the rain, after days of rain, does that to me...I could not live where there is more rain than sunshine, which seems like here lately, blah!

  2. isn't it weird how one side of the country has an abundance of rain & the other is seriously lacking... the west sure could use all that rain! why can't the rain fall where it's needed?

  3. I like the old weathered fence post and the rusty barbed wire!
I hope it doesn't rain on your parade tomorrow. I heard on the news that Minnesota and the Dakotas are having the best weather in the country. It is sunny with temps in the 70's and 80's and low humidity. My kind of weather!

  4. Hopefully the weather will break for the parade tomorrow. My sisters and I used to ride our ponies with our grandfather in the Buchanan parade every year when we were little. If you get a chance try the Rueben at the drugstore. Happy 4th!

  13. Oh no. That's a bummer. We are supposed to have a few inches in north Alabama too, but we didn't have any plans to get spoiled.
