A picture a day from around the Roanoke, VA area.
It's been centuries since I've been in Macado's--a fun place to eat.
I checked out their site, wow what a menu. I would try everything. Looks cool too.
One of the many things I miss most about living in Dallas, restaurants with great food. Too much competition to be bad. My choices here are The Fillin' Station for home style cooking and Subway. Oh, I forgot, we have a convenience store that sells pizza. I'll take one of those Quesadillas!
I really like these murals and bet I would like the place as well.
Lovely mural to watch at while having a drink or meal.
i like it!
i love the sloppy joe part ... so cool! ( :
It's a really fun interior!MersadMersad Donko Photography
I like it too! It looks like a place you would also find in south Florida.
Tanya, looks like a fun place to go for a a great burger and fries!
Wish I lived closer! I'd love to eat there.
Nice wall shield ring and also fun to read that this is one of your favorite places:-)
What a fun place!
Looks like a great place to visit!
Lots to look at while digesting lunch.
Fantastic murals! I love it when restaurants make you feel like you are really "somewhere". :)PS: Have you ever thought of removing some of the advertisements from your page? There is always this giant block thing that covers up the pictures and I can't figure out how to make it go away. :(
i took an ad off that i think is responsible...please let me know if it continues because i can't see it!
I think the one you removed is the one in question. I noticed it as well.
It's gone!!! Thank you!!! I hated that thing. :)
What a neat looking place. Plus….I see some handsome young men there as well. :)
This is really cool! At first I could not tell what is real and what is not! This will for sure go on my visiting Roanoke list.
Their menu is awesome! Now I want to drive all the way there just to eat there!!
Very cool decor!
You have some very cool eateries in Roanoke. I would love to eat here. That is a great mural!
Quite an eclectic looking place. I had a look at the menu- there'd be at least something that I'd go for.
The guy who started Macado's and Spanky's was one of my managament teachers at JMU, one of the best teachers that I had there as he came fromthe real world and not the text book one. I haven't been in the restaurants in a long time but when the old man ran them it was really a neat experience.
I even get that feeling looking at your pictures!
Oh, I like this place!
Looks like a fun place.
Interesting how decor can give a restaurant a unique feeling.
I actually thought it was an outdoor scene until I looked harder. I can see why you like to visit this place. Murals can evoke a place or time. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
I can see why this is a fav spot Tanya, is the food as good as the decor.. it must be I guess or you wouldn't go back :)
Looks a very nice place! Thanks for your nice comment on my Good Fences post.My daughter asks me to thank you too.
Hi! I'm so happy you've stopped by and always enjoy your comments :)
