Great spot, hope he found something to eat!
That is rubbish!!
Nice of it to pose for you.
For once I'll keep my lousy pigeons and squeaking gulls!
i think the black vultures are neat looking. :)
I don't like vultures...you got some good photos of him.
Not one of my favorite birds, but you captured this one in all his glory.
Great shots of one of nature's clean-up crew :)
Well, well.. wonder what he was after... they're a little creepy looking :) nice capture there Tanya.
I've seen a lot of these in Central and South America, didn't know one could find them up north, where you are.
Vultures are just about everywhere, now. We only have the turkey vultures up here in the Great Lakes, but we see both across the southern states. Cool!
LOVELY! Tom The Backroads Traveller
Yep...he knew he would be featured in Rubbish Tuesday and went straight for the dumpster! :-)
I've never seen one 'for real', cool zooming in!
Weird looking guy (gal?). Maybe he didn't want you to watch him eat !!
That is probably the ugliest bird ever. But great picture of him.
Oh my! He looks like something that E.A. Poe would write about. I know they have their place in the eco system, but still the bare heads creep me out. Because we all know WHY they are bare...
They are such unique-looking creatures!
I see he's giving you the stink eye. great images.
you got real nice photos . . handsome fellow, really . . . we don't see them very often . . .
That's a good portrait of him on the dumpster.
Great shot on the dumpster! He was probably looking for lunch. :(
They have a reputation for looking ugly, but I rather like them.
They do hang around at unsavory places. I do like seeing them, however.
Hi! I'm so happy you've stopped by and always enjoy your comments :)
