Juxtaposition

Norfolk Ave . Wholesale Row . Roanoke

Today I am thankful for coffee...strong coffee! It's about 5:30 in the morning and I just returned a little bit ago from dropping Ashlyn off at the airport. She is travelling with a friend to Frisco, Texas to see her JMU Dukes battle it out in the National Championship game! The game is Saturday so the girls will have a little time for sightseeing around Dallas....Now, more coffee!

  1. Yes! I'm thankful for coffee everyday (I say as I sit on my train groggily drinking coffee - hoping to wake up before arriving in the city) good luck to you daughters team!

  3. I lived in Dallas for about four years. That was a long time ago, but it's a nice city ... she'll have a good time. Especially if her team wins!

  5. Coffee is VERY important here. We can't function very well without it :) Sometimes you just need a pot as big as the one in your cover photo above :)

  6. Coffee is ESSENTIAL! LOL! Amanda and Jerry lived in Frisco before they moved to Roanoke for several years. Lots of good memories there! Hope Ashlyn has a wonderful time while she is visiting there!

  7. That is EARLY. I think I would just give in and take a nap! Oh, these poor buildings really need fixing up. Even just new paint and windows.

  12. Seems all of a sudden in my life coffee keeps me from sleeping good. I always heard as we age our body changes.
I love drinking coffee also, straight up no cream or sugar
Guess I will start limiting myself to one cup a day (darn)
