Entrance to The Homestead . Bath County
On Friday Nick had a Rotary Club dinner at The Homestead so he booked a room for us to stay the night...what a gorgeous old hotel...anyways, this little road leads into the hotel and we were behind this old car...I thought the whole scene was very Gatsby-esque! When we were checking in we found out that there was also a Bentley convention going on...that explained all the beautiful old cars!

A convention of Bentleys! That I would like to see! Cool photo!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful view, and this is just perfect for a convention for Bentleys! Will we get to see a photo of the hotel later?
ReplyDeleteBee-U-Tee-Full!!! wow
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a wonderful nostalgic feeling!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous shot! The trees are beautiful, and the car, for some reason, fits right in. Our kids love The Homestead, and go whenever they can find a deal. Even the grandkids love it.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lovely place...easy to slip into a past times reverie!
ReplyDeleteThe car and the beauty of the surroundings make for a lovely picture!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a step back in time. Lovely view!
ReplyDelete...well I can see that this isn't a Days Inn! How neat to see the Bentley driving in. Thanks for sharing, please stop back again.
ReplyDeleteClassic cars like that always catch my eye.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely entrance. Would love to see more of it.
