While at the 4th of July event in Roanoke, they had a Watermelon Eating Contest for the kids. The first one to finish his watermelon has to hold his empty rind up in the air. That's my baby Dalton who won while Braden, sitting next to him, admires his handiwork. Although, I have to say, Braden had a bit of a handicap, 2 loose front teeth!

He was in it to win, considering that some of the kids were just on there first or second bite of watermelon. I suppose it helps if you like watermelon! Looks like they are all having a fun time anyway.
