Macro Monday #1

My dogwood just started to open up...tomorrow it should be beautiful! Linking to Macro Monday this week :)

*If you are a resident of Botetourt County, you might already be aware of the budget cuts we are facing that involve the possible elimination of all school sports at middle and high school level and an elementary school closure. If you didn't already hear about this, you can read the story right here and please attend the meeting on Tuesday, March 27, 6:00 pm at Lord Botetourt High School regarding this important issue.*

  10. Gorgeous shot...love dogwood trees.
What the heck is happening to our schools...are they stupid in not recognizing that our youth are the future leaders of this great country. Cutting out sports is just another nail in the coffin of many of our obese kids. Nothing makes sense.

  18. Beautiful!!! I love dogwood, I was driving around looking for some dogwood blooms here in KC this afternoon. KC temps hit 80 today and the dogwoods don't like the heat.

  20. I really like this macro of the dogwood blossom. We have a pink dogwood in our yard that has started blooming as well. I only hope I can get a picture half as good as this one.
