Monday Murals - Atoka Chase in Blacksburg

On Saturday we went to Blacksburg's Steppin Out Festival and this group Atoka Chase was performing. They have a great sound, we really liked them.
Look, a suitcase drum, how cool!

I've shown you that mural before RIGHT HERE

Here's a snippet of them playing:

  7. That's awesome! If he needed more volume for the guitar, be could plug into the power station behind him. :-)

  10. They sound a bit like reggae, and very professional. Are there lots of murals there?

  11. Not your typical garage band. You generally don't see a violin/fiddle in a band with members of that age.

  14. Sorry about the above delete. I like the mural; it would be good on a school wall since in emphasizes local history. Perfect backdrop for local talent. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
