Team Work

Yesterday with the temps around 80, we decided to head to the lake at Ft. Yargo, which I've mentioned
HERE
Ft. Yargo is the closest place to swim from our house so we spend alot of time there in the summer.
The water, still too cold for me, was just fine for the kids. Braden and Dalton decided to warm up a bit and build sand castles.
After swimming for a couple of hours, we went up to the picnic table and grilled hamburgers.

And a bonus picture of Braden just because when he wears goggles, it always makes me smile!

Have a wonderful day!

  5. I can't even imagine living where you do! You are so lucky to have *that* within easy driving distance. Ohio has a lot to offer, but proximity to beaches is not one of them! Lake Erie is gross--the bacterial counts are frequently way too high to allow safe swimming, and the beaches we have encountered are basically just black fly draws. Ouch! It looks like you had a great day.

  6. My daughter used to have a pair of goggles she loved to wear and called them her go-go goggles.

LOL! Fun pictures, thanks for the memories! :-D

  8. Fun to be out at the beach. To be a child again and carefree.

  10. I remember my kids swimming in the pool just after it was opened for the season and the water was barely 50 degrees.

  13. Your kid is well inspired to protect his eyes, as many sand grains seem to remain on his face after his outdoor works. Hope you had a nice time on the beach.
