“Ruins are the cathedrals of Time.”
― Marty Rubin
It's back to school for us...spring break was sure quick and fun...on the bright side, there's only a month left before summer break!

Have a great day!
Love the old house. Two great images Tanya and I like the addition of the railway track. Hope your Easter was a great one.
ReplyDeleteI bet you could buy the land and the house for a song. What an awesome find! I love the mountain behind it, too. A person would have to suffer from insomnia to live there.
ReplyDeleteLove these old places and always wonder about the peopke who lived there. If you'd give your boys shovels and had them dig ariund the house I'll bet they'd find all kinds of treasures!
ReplyDeleteSweet old house. 3 chimneys too

Abandoned houses always present a mystery about their history. Your photos clearly show that mystery.
ReplyDelete...just one question Tanya, which side of the tracks are we on? Old places like this sure draw me in. Thanks for stopping by, please come again.
ReplyDeleteInteresting old house. Must have been something to hear and feel when a train went whizzing by the house.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful remnant of the past - love that quote about ruins being the cathedrals of time!
ReplyDeleteA quiet mountain hillside with an old house and the train tracks skirting the yard...I love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat quote, Tanya. Old House needs some love. If those walls could talk. blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteI saw this on Instagram and LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI volunteer to man a shovel....I would love to prowl around that old place.
ReplyDeleteYou wonder how long it's been out of use.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fascinating find. I love how close it is to the railroad tracks. If those walls could talk...!
ReplyDeleteGreat old place! I wonder just how old it is?
