On Thursday morning we had an incredible sunrise! I was making breakfast and my kitchen turned a bright pink so I ran out on the deck with my phone and snapped a pic!

Halfsies? On Thursday Braden had physical therapy so I was reading a Good Housekeeping mag while I waited and came across this...painting things half and half...the chair is ok but really, paint half a picture? Is it just me or does that look ridiculous? I had to double take because I didn't think the project was finished...took me a few minutes to realize it was haha...
Anyways that's my wrap up for the week! Have a great weekend...it's a rainy one here!

Terrific sunrise photo. Also like your reflections shot, and I agree with you about painting out half a picture. That is just silly, and destructive.
ReplyDeleteLove the reflections shot. Nice atmosphere...
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!
The sunset is spectacular!! But I think my favorite is the door lights; they are gorgeous! They remind me of a church window. I agree, the half painted pictures are so dumb! But the chair is not too bad. Still, it looks like someone ran out of paint.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful serie. Have a nice weekend
ReplyDeleteThe cows make me smile. I love your sunrise capture. Beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely old house.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise.
ReplyDeleteNope, I don't like those half pictures. :) I could live with the chair. The reflections are fun. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteI hope your son's therapy is going well. Enjoyed the photos. Not sure about the half pictures/half chair :) My mind is way too symmetrical to be able to stop half way and call it done, lol!
ReplyDeleteIs Willy-Nilly your meme/challenge? Am asking because I thought someone else had a meme by the same name. Thanks for writing me back- I am looking for another meme on Friday!:)
ReplyDeleteIn case you don't see my url because I'm on wordpress (all one word)

I used to do the Willy Nilly meme but gave it up and Tom at back roads traveler kindly took it up! He's been doing it for quite a while now!
DeleteWhat a sunrise!
ReplyDeleteThe first photo is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunrise, too
Half a painting - just plain dumb - might as well just throw a dish towel over half to cover it up!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Excellent photos. Yes, the half-painted art is silly.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great variety of photos! The sky shot is awesome and I love the cow, too :)
ReplyDeleteFeel free to share at My Corner of the World
Hello, the cow image enlarged is wonderful. I love the lights reflecting and the beautiful sky shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend. PS, thank you for today's visit and comment.
Painting half of a picture does look odd! lol The chair would be OK, I guess! lol Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteStunning photos! I especially love the first one with the cow!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
That's a lovely old house.
ReplyDeleteI like this photo in B/W

ReplyDeleteI am loving the Critter photo.. I hae traveled that road many times and never saw cow traffic! I too, have passed taht home on Valley Road numerous times in fact, I am almost certain it was our school secretary's home. Too cool, I taught for 30 years at Troutville Elementary. Let me guess you must be at G , trying to be a bit cryptic.. I retired in 2003 and can hardly bleeive I actually did all that teaching sol ong ago! A different like and mindset I can tell you! Glad you could get back to me.. Fun to find a blogger who is also an almost neighbor!

ReplyDeleteThat sunrise is spectacular. I'm glad that you glanced up from making breakfast.
ReplyDeleteI agree, the half painted chair is fine, but the half painted picture is just silly. I enjoyed your post and the peak into your world. Have a great week. Lovely to "meet" you and thanks for visiting my blog last week.
ReplyDeleteIt's delightful to see you at 'My Corner of the World' this week!

That sunrise! Wow,. And the light reflection on your window, what a special find! I love day-brighteners like that. And the half-paint projects? It’s definitely not just you. Ridiculous. In fact, I’d use a different word after the dash. A “half-a**ed job” is what I’d call those paintings!
