Peaks of Otter Winery

(click on photo to enlarge) This gentleman is showing us where to park.

Sunday we jumped on the parkway and headed north. Ended up at Peaks of Otter Winery. We partook in the wine tasting and tried some very interesting and different kinds of wines. It was fun. We packed a lunch to bring along so we sat under the pavillion at a picnic table and ate lunch. Then we walked down the pathway to see the farm animals. I'll show you more throughout the week!

  1. Summer fun includes picnics. Love 'em! I never really noticed before an aspect of your header that puzzles me. The sign offers coffee but it looks as though there is a huge teapot pouring the brew.

    1. That is the shape of at teapot, coffee pots usually have a short spout at the top but I guess they were trying to put on an elegant look.
I have not been to the winery but really like the peaks at the fall foliage time.

  2. It's nice that they have someone to help you park your auto. Of course, if you have enough wine, you may need even more direction!

Wineries are great fun. We have one down the road from us and enjoy visiting but I don't like their wine much. Must be the grapes grown in central/north Florida.

  3. It looks like a nice place! There appears to be a martin house in the background.

  4. Wineries are so much fun! Especially when the weather is nice. I haven't been to one in so long; you've reminded me that I need to cross that off my summer bucket list! :)
