A picture a day from around the Roanoke, VA area.
So that's where it was filmed! Loved the scenery.
That was the first that I have heard of that stone, you broke the news!
Oh that is nice. B

I like your !memory marker' Tanya :) it was a good movie and Patrick Swayze seemed like a lovely person.
Loved him and that movie. I never knew where it was filed. Thanks for sharing the memorial stone.
what a wonderful tribute-we recently rewatched Dirty Dancing, it was a magic movie!
Oh how nice!
That's unexpected. Well, for me it is!
Very nice memorial.
I didn't know about this stone, so thank you for sharing the photo. That was a nice thing for someone to do at Mountain Lake.
How nice for someone to place it there, he died too young.
yeah, that was a great movie....a classic now.
What a fine memorial to Swayze. I suspect that the people who acted in and produced Dirty Dancing had no idea that they were creating a cult favorite.
That is a wonderful memorial - not just for Patrick Swayze but for all cancer victims too. I loved Dirty Dancing!
So cool! I loved Patrick Swayze and Dirty Dancing.
