For this week I'm going to take you on a photo tour of Vinton:
1) Vinton Veteran's Monument...read about it HERE
2) An old abandoned house...
3) A blast from the past...
4) Neat buildings and a reminder that we have to go try that Italian joint...
5) The boys watching the football game as we wait for an order of hot wings...Dalton looking at me annoyed because I keep sneaking pictures ;)
That's my 5 this week friends! I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Now it's your turn, post 5 randoms, link up and visit others! Have fun and have a great weekend!

Thanks for the walk around, most I like the abandoned house... to have a tv in a restaurant is unusually here with us (but it's a good idea while watching).

ReplyDeleteSome good shots to share with us on your "5"...love those old signs on buildings. There are still some of them in my little home town back in Illinois.

ReplyDeleteThe monument particularly stands out to me.
ReplyDeleteThe memorial is special & I enjoyed the peek around the town. Loved the Clover sign!

That's a great picture of the Vinton Veteran's Monument! You should post it on their FB page. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a monument like this one, very cool!
ReplyDeleteGeese...Buddy and I need to check out Vinton more closely. Love your shot of the guys and their dislike of the goings on. hehehe
ReplyDeleteHello Tanya....I have been meaning to link up with you for some time but if you don't mind me killing two birds with one stone...I would love to link up my weekly meme with yours on a regular basis. Love traveling to new places far away.....thank you for taking me to Vinton... That vacant house would be lovely with some TLC and I am sure those boys cheered up when their wings arrived! Thanks for linking up with me at Fun Friday Favourites and for using my button :)
ReplyDeleteThat memorial is awesome!! I like the old, quaint little towns with their time-worn ads.
ReplyDeleteHi Tanya! Great-looking city to photograph! I love their Veterans memorial...really stunning! Sorry I didn't participate this week. I'll be back next week!
ReplyDeleteI like the abandoned house. It reminds me of my grandparents' home. Vinton looks like a nice place to visit. Your sons are growing up!
