Sites from downtown:
Elmwood Park
This guy was about to lose his pants...I waited for him to move to the side so I could get a picture of the fountain ahead but it just wasn't happening so whatever...funny thing is we kept seeing him randomly pop up all over the place while we were walking around haha...

Doors of the old Norfolk Southern Building

Up ahead is the old Norfolk Southern Building I mentioned in was just recently purchased as Norfolk Southern relocated their headquarters down to Atlanta... Linking with Weekend Reflections

Center In The Square...on a nice day one of my favorite things to do while downtown is to visit the rooftop on Center In The provides such a great view of the city...

This is a view from the rooftop of Center In The Square looking back the way we walked in...see that big building on the left? That is the old Norfolk Southern can also just make out the fountain to the right of it that I showed you in #1...this is the way we usually walk into downtown...starting at Elmwood Park and down past the fountain!

That's my 5 this week! I look forward to seeing your randoms! Don't forget to link up and visit others!! Happy New Year!!

  1. Have enjoyed your walk throgh downtown and I like rooftops too (includes my own)
    Happy New Year :-)

  2. Tanya, thanks for the tour around town...Happy New Year.

  3. You wonder why people think that's fashionable. Your Center in the Square reminded me of a performing arts theatre in southern Ontario called Centre in the Square.

  4. Don't you hate it when someone gets in your photo path and blocks the view you want. Thanks for the walk downtown, it looks interesting. Definitely offers lots of photo opps.
Wishing you and your family a happy and healthy 2017 from across the pond.

  5. Weird about that guy. Too bad he didn't lose his pants, then he might have gone! I love your shot from the roof, you can see so much of the city! But my favorite is the third picture with the wonderful reflections!!

  6. Lovely captures!

    Wish you a Brilliant 2017!
